Apache Prayer for Peace

A Prayer of the Apache Great Spirit,
Keeper of the Winds,
Let the white rose bloom in our hearts,
A symbol of freedom,
of grace,
of forgiveness.

Let its petals whisper of compassion,
A love that knows no boundaries,
A kindness that asks for nothing in return.

Teach us to walk gently upon this Earth,
To offer peace where once was pain,
To trade sorrow for understanding,
And bitterness for an exchange of love.

Like the river carves the stone,
May time shape us with wisdom,
Softening the edges of our hearts,
So we may honor the music of the soul,
And hear the unspoken notes of those we cherish.

Above all, Great Spirit,
Let compassion guide our hands,
Let forgiveness lighten our steps,
And let love be the language we all speak.
